Job summary

AWS Melbourne is seeking an Incident Response Team Analyst for the Physical Security Operations Centre. You’ll monitor access control, coordinate contracted guards, and drive real-time incident response to protect critical AWS infrastructure.

You’ll develop SOPs, manage communications, and gather intelligence to keep teams informed; Australian eligibility for government security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in physical security best practices.
• Clear, concise communication with leadership and stakeholders.
• 3+ years in PSOC monitoring and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Monitor physical access control systems and permissions.
• Oversee contracted guard forces across the region.
• Incident response: assess, escalate, and resolve physical security events.
• Gather intelligence and distribute program-wide notifications.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Manage internal and external email and phone communications.
• Triage trouble tickets and provide technical support to stakeholders.
