Job summary

NSW Health Pathology Glen Innes Laboratory is seeking an experienced phlebotomist, or someone starting in the field, for a part-time role delivering essential pathology services across the Glen Innes region. The role offers 28 hours per week across seven shifts per fortnight, with data entry duties and sample collection.

Based at Glen Innes Hospital Laboratory and Collection Centre, you will venepuncture, prepare samples for transport, and contribute to a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience preferred; or willingness to commence a career in phlebotomy.
• Ability to collect blood and other pathology samples.
• Data entry into the laboratory information system.

Responsibilities

• Perform venepuncture and specimen collection for pathology investigations.
• Prepare samples for transport to external testing sites and document in the LIS.
