Job summary

Canberra Health Services (CHS) is seeking a customer-focused Technical Officer to join the Phlebotomy/Pathology team across ACT Pathology locations. You will perform pathology specimen collection, reception and data entry duties, and support patients, clinicians and laboratory staff.

This part-time position requires availability for five hours per day, five days per week. To be eligible you must hold a Certificate III in Pathology Collection (or equivalent), have at least 12 months phlebotomy

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Pathology Collection (or equivalent)
• Minimum 12 months phlebotomy experience
• Current Australian driver’s licence
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Collect and prepare pathology specimens across ACT Pathology locations
• Provide reception and data entry duties as part of the team
• Support patients, clinicians and laboratory staff to ensure high-quality service
• Maintain accurate records and patient information
