Job summary

Southern NSW Local Health District Tweed is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Logistics Control and Imprest Management role. You will undertake sourcing and purchasing, manage stock recalls, and perform stock takes to ensure timely, cost effective delivery of onsite pharmaceuticals.

You will supervise and train the Imprest Pharmacy team, sharing knowledge of drug basics, stock usage patterns and the importance of stock control to maximise logistic control benefits.

About the role

Tweed Valley Hospital Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in the role of Logistics Control and Imprest Management

In this role you will undertake the sourcing and purchasing, management of stock recalls, stock take and any other associated tasks to ensure timely and cost effective delivery of onsite pharmaceuticals.

You will be responsible for managing the Imprest Pharmacy team, providing supervision and education and training in basic drug knowledge, stock usage patterns and importance of stock control to maximise logistic control benefits.
