Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to support the safe, effective and lawful supply of medicines while collaborating closely with pharmacists and the wider healthcare team. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress within pharmacy and gain a nationally recognised qualification.

Training is delivered through a blended approach alongside your role, with responsibilities including managing medicines, stock control, patient advice, and mentoring new staff.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (A‑C or 4‑9) desired.
• Willingness to complete Maths/English tests if needed.
• Interest in pharmacy and healthcare.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, order, receive and supply medicines safely and accurately.
• Provide patient advice on prescriptions and OTC medicines.
• Support day‑to‑day pharmacy operations, stock control and governance.
• Supervise and support pharmacy staff as you progress.
• Assist with training and mentoring new staff.
• Participate in audits and respond to feedback to maintain standards.
