St George Private Hospital’s Pharmacy team is seeking a motivated Pharmacy Student for a casual placement. You will work with licensed Pharmacists to support daily operations, dispense under supervision, and deliver friendly patient service in a professional setting.

You are currently studying a Bachelor or Master of Pharmacy, with weekend and evening availability, and a genuine interest in developing practical skills.

Qualifikationen

• Currently studying an approved Bachelor or Master of Pharmacy degree.
• Availability to work weekends and evening shifts.
• Previous community pharmacy experience is advantageous.
• Committed to patient safety, privacy and quality care.
• Able to follow instructions and work under supervision.

Aufgaben

• Support Pharmacists and the pharmacy team with day-to-day operations.
• Assist with dispensing and medication-related activities under supervision.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking and organising stock.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with stock rotation.
• Support preparation and supply of medications as directed by Pharmacists.
• Maintain a clean, organised pharmacy environment.
• Assist with administrative and operational tasks as required.
• Follow pharmacy procedures, legislation and WHS requirements.
• Collaborate with Pharmacists, Technicians and the healthcare team.

Working alongside experienced Pharmacists and the wider pharmacy team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive and professional environment while contributing to the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Pharmacists and the pharmacy team with day-to-day pharmacy operations
• Assist with dispensing and medication-related activities under appropriate supervision and within your scope of practice
• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Assist with receiving, unpacking and organising stock
• Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with stock rotation
• Support the preparation and supply of medications as directed by Pharmacists
• Maintain a clean, organised and professional pharmacy environment
• Assist with administrative and operational tasks as required
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
• Follow relevant pharmacy procedures, legislation, workplace health and safety requirements and professional standards
• Work collaboratively with Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians and the wider healthcare team
