Central Coast Local Health District is seeking a Manager, Pharmacy Procurement and Inventory to lead procurement, inventory and supply-chain operations within the CCLHD Pharmacy Department. This role focuses on ensuring reliable access to medicines while optimising financial outcomes and managing organisational risk.

The position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking and advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical procurement, inventory control and supply-chain operations.

Qualifications

Experience in pharmaceutical procurement, stock control, inventory management and supply-chain operations.

Responsibilities

Lead pharmaceutical procurement, inventory and supply-chain operations across the CCLHD Pharmacy Department.
Develop and implement strategies to optimise expenditure and achieve financial targets.
Lead supplier negotiations, forecasting and procurement initiatives to improve value and continuity of supply.
Ensure compliance and manage risk including medicine shortages and recalls.
Lead and develop the Pharmacy Procurement and Inventory Team to deliver high-quality service.
