Job summary

Central Coast Local Health District is seeking an experienced Manager, Pharmacy Procurement and Inventory to lead pharmaceutical procurement, inventory management and supply-chain performance, ensuring reliable access to medicines while optimising financial outcomes and managing organisational risk.

This leadership role will develop strategies, negotiate with suppliers, forecast demand and drive continuous improvement across the Pharmacy Department, collaborating with the Pharmacy Leadership

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical procurement and inventory management.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to develop and monitor operational and financial strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmaceutical procurement, inventory and supply-chain operations across the CCLHD Pharmacy Department.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise expenditure and achieve financial targets.
• Lead supplier negotiations, forecasting and procurement initiatives to improve value and continuity of supply.
• Manage compliance, risk, shortages, recalls and safety issues.
• Lead and develop the Pharmacy Procurement and Inventory Team.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy Leadership Team and stakeholders to drive service improvement.
