Job summary

University of Canberra (Online) seeks two part-time Lecturers in Pharmacy (Level B) to deliver and enhance online, face-to-face and blended pharmacy programs. The roles include 0.6FTE (22.5 hrs/week) across continuing and fixed-term contracts, with opportunities to develop scholarly profiles through teaching, scholarship and supervision.

Successful candidates will bring contemporary pharmacy practice experience, tertiary teaching ability and a PhD progress in pharmacy or related field, with

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in pharmacy and current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in tertiary teaching, assessment and curriculum development in pharmacy or related health discipline.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to teach and mentor industry peers.
• Desirable: Completion of or progress towards a PhD in pharmacy or related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops and practical classes across learning modes.
• Coordinate units and contribute to curriculum development and assessment design.
• Design and evaluate innovative, authentic assessments.
• Develop relationships with healthcare organisations, professional bodies, industry and community stakeholders.
• Contribute to research supervision of honours, masters and PhD students.
