Job summary

University of Canberra seeks two part-time Lecturers in Pharmacy to deliver and enhance programs across face-to-face, online and blended learning. You will develop scholarly profiles through teaching scholarship, educational innovation and supervision activities.

Deliver engaging content, coordinate units and contribute to curriculum development while building relationships with healthcare organisations and stakeholders, including opportunity to supervise Honours, Masters, and PhD students.

Qualifications

• To be successful in this role, you will bring contemporary experience in pharmacy practice.
• Experience in tertiary teaching, assessment and/or curriculum development in pharmacy or related health discipline.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to teach and mentor industry peers.
• Completion of, or substantial progress towards, a PhD in pharmacy or related field is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, workshops and practical classes across learning modes.
• Coordinate units and contribute to curriculum development, assessment design and student learning experiences.
• Design and evaluate innovative, authentic assessments that support student success.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with healthcare organisations, professional bodies, industry and community stakeholders.
• Contribute to research supervision where appropriate, including Honours, Masters and PhD students.
