Yarra Junction Pharmacy in the Yarra Valley is seeking a Pharmacy Dispensary Technician to join our busy community pharmacy. You will dispense and assemble prescriptions, pack DAAs, and assist with day-to-day operations in a friendly, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience with dispensing and/or Dose Administration Aids is advantageous

Pharmacy Dispensary Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Pharmacy Dispensary Technician to join our busy community pharmacy in the Yarra Valley.

This is an opportunity to become part of a friendly, supportive team where you will play an important role in providing quality service to our local community.

Your responsibilities will include dispensing and assembling prescriptions, packing Dose Administration Aids and assisting with the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy.

Key responsibilities

• Dispensing and assembling prescriptions

• Packing Dose Administration Aids (DAAs)

• Greeting and serving customers

• Receiving and handing out prescriptions

• Processing sales using our Point of Sale (POS) system

• Unpacking orders and managing stock

• Maintaining a clean and organised dispensary

• Providing general assistance with the day-to-day running of the pharmacy

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• Genuinely enjoys helping people and takes pride in providing excellent customer service

• Has good communication skills

• Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Is motivated, organised and reliable

• Is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

• Has experience as a Pharmacy Technician, or is an experienced Pharmacy Assistant looking to develop their dispensary skills

Experience with dispensing and/or Dose Administration Aids will be highly regarded.
