Metro North Health in Brisbane is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacists and ensure timely access to medicines for patients and clinical teams.

Under supervision you will assist with prescription preparation and manage Medicare, concession and safety net details, while processing invoice payments for prescriptions.

You will also help with aseptic and non-aseptic product preparation, including cytotoxic and immunotherapies, contributing to safe, high‑quality pharmacy services.

Qualifications

• Assist with prescription preparation under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Manage up-to-date patient information including Medicare, concession and safety net details.
• Process invoice payments for prescriptions in accordance with departmental procedures.
• Assist with aseptic and non-aseptic product preparation including cytotoxic and immunotherapies.
