Job summary

Metro North Hospital & Health Service is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacists and clinical teams by ensuring timely access to medicines and pharmacy services.

In this role you will assist with prescription preparation under pharmacist supervision, process invoice payments, and help with aseptic and non-aseptic product preparation, including cytotoxic and immunotherapy tasks, in a safe, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Assist with prescription preparation under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Process invoice payments for prescriptions per procedures.
• Assist with aseptic and non-aseptic product preparation, including cytotoxic/immunotherapies and repackaging.

Responsibilities

• Assist with prescription preparation under supervision.
• Process payments and manage Medicare/concession details.
• Prepare aseptic/non-aseptic products following standard formulations.
