Job summary

Mitchell O'Hara Pharmacy in Geelong West VIC is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant to join our experienced team. Reporting to the pharmacy owner, you will help deliver high‑quality care, support the dispensary, and assist with daily operations.

Key duties include advising customers on health solutions, managing stock, ordering, merchandising, and ensuring compliance with IPA member standards and QCPP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy experience is mandatory (S2/S3 certificate essential).
• Highly organised and methodical with strong attention to detail.
• Sound stock and inventory management skills.
• Strong work ethic and a dedicated, reliable approach.

Responsibilities

Open 7 days a week, the pharmacy maintains strong script volumes, a webster packing service and an extensive retail offering.

We are looking for a Pharmacy Assistant to join our friendly, energetic team. Reporting directly to the pharmacy owner, you'll play a vital role in delivering outstanding care to our customers and supporting our dispensary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide customers with health care solutions and product recommendations
• Give advice on over-the-counter medications
• Assist with daily ordering, inventory management and merchandising
• Support pharmacists and other dispensary staff as required
• Help the team meet IPA member standards and QCPP guidelines

Required Skills & Attributes:

This is an ongoing role with remuneration negotiated based on experience. This role will consist of a mixof evening and weekend shifts. An immediate start is on offer for the right candidate.
