Job summary

Good Price Pharmacy Albion Park Rail is seeking a highly motivated individual to fulfil a full-time or part-time role as Pharmacy Assistant. Responsibilities include customer service, inventory control, and assisting with prescription procedures in a friendly, professional environment.

Experience in retail and pharmacy is preferred. Proficiency with EFTPOS, POS systems, and stock management is required, with readiness to adapt to new software.

Qualifications

• Ability to work full-time or part-time hours.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficient in using inventory management software; POS Works, and LOTS Dispensary (or ability to adapt to new software)

Responsibilities

• Delivering professional and friendly customer service.
• Providing customers with advice on over-the-counter medications.
• Operating cash registers and EFTPOS machines.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.
• Inventory control; ordering and rotating stock, as well as managing and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
• Assist retail manager in daily tasks.
• Keeping accurate records of inventory and sales.
• Answering phone calls and assisting with enquiries.
• Assist with prescription procedures: eg. taking scripts in and serving scripts out
