Job summary

National Pharmacies is seeking an experienced casual Pharmacy Assistant to join our Gawler Place store. You will be the friendly face for customers, offering health and wellbeing guidance, and driving engagement with our member community.

You will merchandise displays, assist with promotions, and handle POS transactions with accuracy while following pharmacy protocols. Availability for casual shifts across weekdays and Saturdays is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience on the shop floor in pharmacy, health and beauty or similar
• Proven ability to build rapport and give trusted advice
• Available for casual shifts, including weekends and afternoons
• Clear, warm communication on floor and phone
• Genuine passion for health and wellbeing with a team-first attitude
• Pharmacy experience or a Certificate II/III in Community Pharmacy is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Be the friendly face that makes every customer visit better
• Help grow our member community and hit engagement targets
• Keep the floor looking brilliant: stocked, tidy and ready to impress
• Spot opportunities to boost sales through great advice and merchandising
• Follow S2/S3 medicine protocols and refer to the pharmacist when needed
• Bring promotions and campaigns to life with eye-catching displays
• Handle POS transactions with accuracy and confidence
• Pitch in with a team that has your back, even when it gets busy
• Be available for casual shifts in store hours between Monday to Friday 8-5.30pm and Saturday 9-5pm
