Job summary

National Pharmacies in Port Pirie is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant on an ongoing casual basis. The role focuses on delivering friendly, trusted health advice and excellent customer service to the local community.

You will work in a small, dynamic team, with training provided to build knowledge of medicines and pharmacy products, flexible shifts, and opportunities to grow hours and take on more responsibility. Generous staff discounts apply to health, beauty and optical products.

Qualifications

• Experience in face-to-face retail or customer service is highly regarded.
• Training is provided to build pharmacy product and medicines knowledge.
• Flexible shifts with on-call availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the friendly face that makes every customer's visit better and get to know regulars by name.
• Help grow our member community and hit engagement targets.
• Keep the floor stocked, tidy and ready to impress.
• Spot opportunities to boost sales through great advice and merchandising.
• Follow S2/S3 medicine protocols and refer to the pharmacist when needed.
• Bring promotions and campaigns to life with eye-catching displays.
• Handle POS transactions with accuracy and confidence.
• Join a small, friendly team that supports each other during busy periods.
