Job summary

National Pharmacies is seeking an experienced casual Pharmacy Assistant to join our Gawler Place store. You will be the friendly face for customers, offering health and wellbeing guidance, and driving engagement with our member community.

You will merchandise displays, assist with promotions, and handle POS transactions with accuracy while following pharmacy protocols. Availability for casual shifts across weekdays and Saturdays is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience on the shop floor in pharmacy, health and beauty or similar
• Proven ability to build rapport and give trusted advice
• Available for casual shifts, including weekends and afternoons
• Clear, warm communication on floor and phone
• Genuine passion for health and wellbeing with a team-first attitude
• Pharmacy experience or a Certificate II/III in Community Pharmacy is a bonus

• Handle POS transactions with accuracy and confidence
• Pitch in with a team that has your back, even when it gets busy
• Be available for casual shifts in store hours between Monday to Friday 8-5.30pm and Saturday 9-5pm

Experience: Substantial face-to-face retail experience. You're confident, polished and at home on the shop floor, in pharmacy, health and beauty or another customer-focused environment

Customer magic: A proven knack for building rapport fast and giving advice people trust

Flexibility: Availability for casual shifts, including weekends and afternoons

Communication: Clear, warm and capable, on the floor and on the phone

Heart: A genuine passion for health and wellbeing, and a positive, team-first attitude

Bonus: Pharmacy experience or a Certificate II or III in Community Pharmacy
