Job summary

Direct Chemist Outlet Pharmacy Pialba is seeking a self-motivated Pharmacy Assistant on a casual basis with the potential for permanent part-time for the right candidate. The role requires pharmacy experience and availability for weekends and evenings, with approx.

25 hours per week. You will assist customers with general queries, support the retail manager, and back-counter dispense team, handle EFTPOS and cash transactions, and help with merchandising.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy experience is essential and S2/S3 training is highly regarded.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to liaise with various stakeholders and work in a team.
• Stock control experience beneficial but not essential.

An exciting opportunity is available for a self-motivatedexperienced Pharmacy Assistant to join the team at DCO Pharmacy Pialba.

Initially this will be on a casual basis with the opportunity for perm part-time for the right applicant, with approx. 25 hours per week.

The required roster/shifts will include week-ends & evenings, pharmacy experience is essential and Ideally you will have also completed your S2/S3 training!

As a confident communicator, you will provide an exceptional level of customer service to assist our customers with their healthcare needs. With your positive attitude and high attention to detail, you will thrive in a team environment where no two days are the same.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Assisting customers with general queries

• Supporting the Retail manager and front of shop team

• Supporting the Dispense team on the back counter

• Assisting on registers with Eftpos & cash transactions etc..

• Merchandising and Catalogue display set-up

• General Housekeeping

To be successful in the role, you must possess:

• Previous Retail & Pharmacy experienceispreferred

• Availability to work Weekdays, Weekend & Evening shifts

• Sound knowledge of Pharmacy products

• Stock control experience beneficial but not essential

• S2 & S3 training or holders of certificates I - III in Community Pharmacy highly regarded

• Excellent customer service skills

• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with different stakeholders

• A dedicated work ethic and the ability to work well in a team and autonomously

• Eye for detail and accuracy
