Job summary
Broadbeach Day and Night Chemist News and Casket in Broadbeach, QLD, is seeking a part-time pharmacy assistant to join a friendly, professional team. The role includes some evening shifts and a weekend day, with duties spanning customer service, supporting pharmacists, and stock management.

Responsibilities
- Customer service in all areas of the pharmacy including the News agency/Golden Casket counter
- Follow all correct procedures when processing cash or credit card transactions
- Display working knowledge of health conditions related to pharmacy products and services
- Assist in maintaining a clean and tidy appearance in the pharmacy
- Assist in maintaining stock presentation, including cleaning and shelf labelling
- Assist in unpacking and putting away stock

The primary role of the pharmacy assistant is to
- Assist our customers with their healthcare needs and general enquires.
- Support the pharmacists and dispensary staff.
- Managing scripts in and out.
- Marking off orders and replenishing stock.
- S2/S3 Certificate or Certificate II/III in community pharmacy must be held at the time of application

- Dedicated work ethic and strong team player
- Strong attention to detail and highly organised
- Ability to work independently and also effectively within a team & take direction
