Job summary

LiveLife Pharmacy is seeking a motivated Dispensary Assistant to support pharmacists and dispensary staff. Training will be provided; experience is valued but not essential. The role covers front-of-shop and dispensing duties, stock control, and customer service in a friendly, values-driven team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as a Dispensary Assistant or relevant qualifications (highly regarded but not essential)

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our Pharmacy team in the role of Dispensary Assistant. If you are passionate about helping others, take pride in your attention to detail and are willing to learn, this opportunity may be for you!

A Dispensary Assistant supports a team of Pharmacists and other dispensary staff with dispensing. This includes providing product information and preparing medications for our patients. A great Dispensary Assistant has strong problem-solving skills as well as excellent communication skills. They form strong connections, establish a sense of trust, and use their knowledge to improve the lives of our patients and their families. Please note that experience is highly regarded but not essential to this role, as training will be provided.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional customer experiences in the front of shop and dispense areas
• Working in a Pharmacy with exposure to Dispensary functions
• Proficient use of dispensary software (FRED NXT)
• Providing efficient stock control in the Dispensary

This is a permanent full-time opportunity for a Dispensary Assistant who is available to work until 6.00pm in the evening and work weekends on an alternating roster and who is committed to providing excellent customer service, advice, and education to our patients. Remuneration will be based on your experience and qualifications, and part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate.
