A permanent full or part time opportunity to provide advanced clinical pharmacy services, lead medication safety initiatives, and influence patient outcomes across a broad range of specialty areas.

About the role

As a Senior Pharmacist at Redcliffe Hospital, you will play a pivotal role in delivering advanced clinical pharmacy services that improve patient outcomes, medication safety and the quality use of medicines across a range of specialty areas. Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert clinical advice, manage complex patient caseloads and contribute to innovative, evidence-based pharmacy practices that support safe and effective healthcare delivery.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Demonstrate high-level clinical knowledge, skills and leadership, in the medication management of patients. This includes identifying and introducing new clinical pharmacy practices that can result in improved medication use (clinical and cost effective)
• Exercise independent professional judgement in problem-solving and managing clinical caseloads.
• Be recognised as a reference point within the multidisciplinary clinical and pharmacy teams
• Develop effective professional relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders to inform / influence clinical outcomes and / or encourage behavioural change.
• Demonstrate a broad understanding of the continuum of care and the organisational provision of a multidisciplinary health service.
