  • Support the delivery of community pharmacy services, including vaccinations, health checks, medication management consultations and other services offered by the pharmacy, subject to appropriate training and authorisation.
  • Assist with Dose Administration Aid (DAA) preparation, medication packing and checking procedures, where applicable.
  • Monitor medication safety, identify potential prescribing or dispensing issues, and communicate with prescribers and other healthcare professionals when necessary.
  • Manage dispensary inventory, monitor stock levels, process orders and maintain appropriate storage and handling of medicines, including scheduled medicines in accordance with relevant requirements.
  • Maintain accurate dispensing records, patient profiles and confidential health information.
  • Provide professional advice on health, wellness and suitable over-the-counter products, recognising when referral to another healthcare professional is appropriate.
  • Support the day-to-day operation of the dispensary, including workflow management, prioritisation of prescriptions and coordination with pharmacy support staff.
