Job summary

MployHR is seeking experienced Production Operators for a well-established Australian pharmaceutical manufacturer in Melbourne. This ongoing casual role offers the potential to transition to permanent full-time based on performance and business needs.

Base hourly rate ranges between $28.53 and $32.93 plus super, with morning, afternoon, and night shifts available. You will support filling and packing operations, perform line set-ups, changeovers, and ensure GMP and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more production experience in pharmaceutical, food, FMCG or similar manufacturing.
• Experience operating semi-automated machinery, including line setting, setup and changeovers.
• Ability to follow SOPs and complete production documentation.

Responsibilities

• Line setting, machine setup, and product changeovers.
• Operate filling and packing equipment, including fillers, sealers, labellers, printers, conveyors, and cartoners.
• Complete line clearances, cleaning, and sanitisation to prevent product mix-ups and cross-contamination.
• Verify materials, packaging, labels, batch codes, and expiry dates against work orders.
• Conduct pre-start safety checks and trial runs before production.
• Monitor fill weights, seal integrity, labelling, print quality, and product quality.
