Job summary

The Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration is seeking an organised and detail-focused officer to support the administration of petroleum, geothermal energy and greenhouse gas titles in Western Australia. The role involves processing title applications, transfers and dealings, maintaining registers, preparing recommendations, and responding to stakeholder enquiries.

Qualifications

• Australian citizenship or permanent residency or valid Australian work visa.
• Qualifications obtained outside Australia must be assessed by the Overseas Qualifications Unit to meet Australian standards.
• Consent to Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) and pre-employment checks will be coordinated and paid by the department.

Responsibilities

• Maintain statutory registers and databases.
• Prepare recommendation documentation.
