Job summary

Jet Pets Animal Transport in Melbourne is seeking a casual Pet Handler / Driver to join our team. The role focuses on early evening support during the work week with weekend work involved, requiring professional animal handling and safe driving between our facility, the airport and client properties.

You will be responsible for pet handling, crate building and delivering pets with care, in a friendly, customer‑facing environment.

Qualifications

A love of animals and professional animal handling experience is essential
A professional customer service-orientated approach to work
A full drivers licence and safe driving record - probationary drivers will not be considered
Confidence and experience driving long hauls (where required)
Ability to work autonomously when required
Ability to work flexible hours
A strong and professional work ethic and excellent attention to detail
Additionally, you will have an energetic and positive nature and enjoy working as part of a highly motivated team
Capable to look after the animals within our care with some lifting involved

Responsibilities

Pet handling, driving and crate building as part of daily duties
Travel between our facility, airport and client properties for deliveries and collections
