Maxima Recruitment Services – Kingston QLD is seeking an experienced Pest Management team member to support a local council based in Kingston. The role is Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, with casual pay of $34.00 per hour plus super, in a team delivering high‑quality pest control programs.

You will assist with surveillance, mosquito treatment programs, and biosecurity efforts, working within a cohesive operational team. A C class driver’s licence and pest management knowledge are preferred.

Formación

• Previous experience or knowledge in pest management and control.
• Sound knowledge of manual handling procedures and physical labour.
• Demonstrated computer skills and ability to use GIS maps.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake a range of laboring duties, including operation of small plant and other equipment.
• Set up and clean up tasks at job sites and Queens Road facility.
• Assist with surveillance and monitoring programs for control of mosquitos.
• Assist mosquito treatment programs in line with Council policies.
• Help manage biosecurity risks associated with Red Import Fire Ants.
• Work within an operational team delivering pest control and pest management services.

Maxima's Recruitment Services team are on the hunt for an experience Pest Management team member to work with their client, a well-known local council based in Kingston.
This role will see you work Monday - Friday, 38 hours per week for the length of assignment with a casual hourly pay of $34.00 + super. You willwork within a cohesive in an operational team that delivers high quality pest control and pest management programs, responding to customer requests concerning pest management matters in a safe manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake a range of laboring duties, including the operation of small plant and other equipment
• Perform set up and clean up tasks at job sites and Queens Road facility
• Assist with Surveillance and monitoring programs for the control of fresh and saltwater mosquitos
• Assist mosquito treatment programs in accordance with Council's policies and procedures
• Assist with managing biosecurity risks associated with Red Import Fire Ants

About You:

• Current C class driver's license
• Previous experience or knowledge in pest management and control
• Have sound knowledge of manual handling procedures and cope with physical labour
• Demonstrated computer skills with an ability to acquire knowledge and an understanding of Council's GIS (Council maps)
