Job summary

Aggreko plc in Perth is seeking a Service Centre Manager to lead the local depot and wider metro area, driving fleet readiness, stock control, budgeting and project planning. You will provide technical guidance, coordinate admin tasks, and ensure safety compliance while supporting sales and operations with strong cross-functional collaboration.

The role demands proven leadership, engineering or trade qualifications, and a commitment to continuous improvement and customer-focused delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and mentoring teams in a Rental warehouse environment.
• Trade or engineering qualification as electrician, diesel or refrigeration mechanic.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to lead, develop and maintain cross-department relationships.
• Customer-focused with negotiating experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Advanced PC literacy.
• Proven planning, problem solving and coordination skills.
• 5/6 Sigma or Continuous Improvement training preferable.
• Forklift ticket and a manual driving license.
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment medical and D&A testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Perth depot and broader metro area.
• Provide first level technical advice to customers.
• Support growth, delivering operational and administration excellence.
• Ensure service targets are met daily and weekly.
• Complete financial tasks: invoicing, debt collection, and Movex reporting.
• Maintain the depot fleet to a Ready for Rental standard.
• Train the team to answer customer enquiries.
• Keep stock under control within budgets.
• Ensure timely stock takes and safety compliance.
• Promote safe working practices and PPE adherence.
• Plan onsite project needs and support hire deliveries.
• Keep depot aligned with Aggreko Global Service Center Standards.
• Collaborate with Sales, Area Sales Managers and Admin teams.
• Facilitate toolbox meetings and Powerpack sessions.
• Support Operations Manager and Orange Excellence projects.
• Achieve monthly KPIs for fleet reliability and customer satisfaction.
