Job summary

Airswift seeks an experienced Senior Civil Engineer in Perth, WA, to lead civil design across earthworks, roads, drainage, and site infrastructure for a major project. You will drive technical studies, prepare design reports, and guide multidisciplinary teams through planning, design, and execution phases.

You will mentor junior engineers and oversee external consultants, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and project budgets while delivering practical and cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years' experience delivering civil designs for major infrastructure.
• Experience in earthworks, roads, drainage, and site infrastructure.
• Experience managing consultants and project documentation.
• Knowledge of Australian standards and regulatory processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and support project development.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil design packages for earthworks, roads, drainage, and site infrastructure.
• Prepare Basis of Design, Technical Specifications, and Design Reports.
• Provide technical leadership across the project lifecycle.
• Review models, drawings, and documentation for standards compliance.
• Manage external engineering consultants, schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives.
• Support risk assessments and optimize safety and cost.
