Job summary

EnerMech in Perth is seeking an experienced Estimator to develop accurate labour, equipment, material and subcontract cost estimates for a range of industrial services projects. You will build tender pricing models and support project P&L forecasts, collaborating with Operations and SME teams to optimise delivery and assess risks.

You will lead cost analyses, maintain estimating databases, and support tender reviews and governance processes.

Qualifications

Experience in estimating and tendering for industrial services projects.
Experience in Mining, Oil & Gas, Energy or infrastructure sectors preferred.
Strong Excel skills and ability to translate technical info into cost models.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed labour, equipment, material, and subcontract cost estimates.
Build tender pricing models and support the development of project P&L forecasts.
Collaborate with Operations and SMEs to optimise delivery methodologies and execution plans.
Analyse key cost drivers, productivity assumptions, and resource requirements.
Conduct market benchmarking and competitive analysis to support pricing strategies.
Lead cost risk assessments and assist with contingency development.
Maintain estimating databases, historical benchmarks, and lessons learned registers.
Support tender reviews, governance requirements, and approval processes.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the estimating function.
