Job summary

EnerMech in Henderson, Western Australia, is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead end‑to‑end cost estimates for complex projects and tenders. You will provide commercial insight and support bid activities across Operations, Engineering, Commercial, Finance, and Legal teams.

You will maintain estimating standards, improve capability, and ensure estimates are robust, defendable, and aligned with organisational objectives while mentoring the estimating team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator in mechanical, electrical, or industrial contexts.
• Experience in estimating, commercial analysis, cost engineering, or project controls.
• Ability to develop and review estimates for complex tenders and projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of detailed project estimates to required accuracy.
• Analyze tender docs, specs, and scopes of work.
• Develop and manage Basis of Estimate (BOE) processes.
• Facilitate estimate reviews and approval workshops.
• Present estimates to internal committees and stakeholders.
• Create estimating strategies for major tender opportunities.
• Mentor estimating team and ensure governance compliance.
