Job summary

BDO Perth is expanding its CFO Advisory capability and seeking a Senior Consultant to work with a new partner in the Perth office. You will help shape our local offering while delivering high-quality advisory services to public and private sector clients.

The role involves engaging with CEOs, CFOs and boards, driving governance improvements, and delivering practical financial insights across finance functions. You will often be embedded with client finance teams to gain hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience across audit, business services, or commerce.
• Proven ability to engage with CEOs, CFOs and boards.
• Strong understanding of finance functions and governance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building CFO advisory capability in Perth and support local clients.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to develop governance structures tailored to client needs.
• Provide technical accounting guidance aligned with clients' commercial goals.
• Support clients throughout year-end financial reporting and sustainability reporting cycles.
• Deliver practical, integrated finance solutions with cross-functional teams.
