Job summary

BDO invites experienced professionals to join its CFO Advisory team in Perth, shaping a new local capability under a partner's guidance. You will help build the offering from the ground up and support clients across public and private sectors as they transform finance functions.

You will engage with CEOs, CFOs and boards to drive governance and robust financial reporting. The role offers hands-on client work, embedding with client finance teams when needed, and a culture focused on

Qualifications

• Proven experience in audit, business services, or commerce.
• CA or CPA qualification or near completion is preferred.
• Curiosity and collaborative mindset across teams are valued.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to optimise or establish finance functions for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Apply audit, business services, or commerce expertise to drive meaningful improvements beyond compliance.
• Engage with CEOs, CFOs, and Board members to develop governance structures tailored to client needs.
• Provide technical accounting guidance aligned with client commercial goals.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver practical, integrated solutions.
• Enhance decision-making with improved financial information and streamlined processes.
• Support clients through year-end Financial Reporting and Sustainability Reporting cycles.
