Job summary

Team Global Express is seeking a reliable Dockhand / Driver to join our Perth-based operations at Perth Airport. This is a full-time role with 10:30am–7:00pm hours, Monday to Friday, plus occasional overtime and eligibility for 10 RDOs per year.

You will handle parcel freight, operate forklifts, assist with local pick-ups and deliveries, and ensure safe, accurate sortation and loading for onward transport. A hands-on, safety-minded approach is essential in a fast-paced depot.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight handling, parcel operations or a similar transport environment.
• Ability to operate a forklift in a busy depot or warehouse.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety and manual handling.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Attention to detail when scanning, sorting and processing freight.

Responsibilities

• Handling, sorting and processing parcel freight accurately and efficiently
• Loading and unloading trucks and trailers safely
• Scanning inbound and outbound parcels and freight
• Sorting freight according to destination and delivery requirements
• Assisting with loading and preparation of PUD and linehaul vehicles
• Completing local parcel and freight pick-ups and deliveries as required
• Operating a forklift to move freight safely around the depot
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe dock and work area
• Following all company safety, operational and compliance procedures
• Working closely with drivers and the wider operations team to support the smooth movement of freight
