Job summary

Fitness First in Canberra is seeking a Personal Training Manager to lead a dynamic PT team. You will recruit, train and mentor Personal Trainers, building a coaching culture that helps members achieve ambitious goals.

You’ll foster growth, confidence and client results while modelling professionalism and integrity for your team. As a leader, you’ll drive club performance, manage budgets, and implement national fitness projects while delivering exceptional coaching experiences and strong

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Fitness or higher is required.
• AUSactive/ Fitrec registration.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Current Working with Children check.

Responsibilities

• Attract and recruit Personal Trainers who fit the team and culture.
• Develop teams' practical and theoretical skills through coaching and leadership.
• Guide and mentor the team on business management to grow client base.
• Implement and manage Fitness First's national fitness projects within the club.
• Oversee budgeted targets, financial administration tasks and reporting.

As a **PT Manager**, you’ll lead from the front, developing talented Personal Trainers, building a strong coaching culture and helping members achieve goals they once thought were out of reach. Because when great trainers grow, more members discover what they’re truly capable of. **Responsibilities:** * Attract and recruit Personal Trainers who live and breathe fitness, have the experience and the right cultural fit for your team* Assist in the development of your teams practical and theoretical skill set by coaching, motivating and leading by example* Guide and mentor your team on the most relevant business management practices to grow and expand a successful client base* Implementation and management of Fitness First's national fitness projects within your club* Oversee and manage budgeted targets, financial administration tasks and reporting* Collaboratively work with your Club Management team and Regional Performance Manager**To be successful in this role you will need:** **Qualifications** * Successful completion of Certificate IV in Fitness or above* AUSactive/ Fitrec registration* Current First Aid and CPR* Current Working with Children check**Experience & attributes** * Minimum 2+ years of industry related experience and/or managing a personal training business* Strong understanding of the fitness industry with a passion for health and fitness, and desire to help others achieve their goals* Proven track record as an accomplished Personal Trainer with a loyal client base* Excellent communication skills to lead, motivate and drive a team to success* Proactive approach to attracting new PTs* The confidence to work autonomously and proactively engage with Fitness First members **What we can offer you:** A career in fitness is anything but ordinary.
