Plexus Personal Training is expanding across Sydney’s North Shore and seeks skilled trainers for St Ives and Pymble. All sessions are private 1:1; we provide the studio, clients and systems. You focus on coaching, relationships and results.
Roles begin as contractor opportunities with room to grow into a larger schedule as demand grows. Sessions are 45 minutes, strength-focused, with a pay-per-session model plus super.
Want to coach in a private 1:1 studio where the clients are provided, there’s no gym rent or sales targets, and there’s a genuine pathway to building a full‑time role?
Plexus Personal Training is growing across Sydney’s North Shore, and we’re looking for great trainers to join our team across St Ives and Pymble.
We operate differently from a traditional commercial gym.
Every session is private 1:1. We provide the studio, the clients and the systems. You focus on coaching, building relationships and getting great results.
We have several contractor opportunities available and will work with the right applicants to find the role and location that best suits their availability.
Our highest-priority role is St Ives weekday mornings.
We’re looking for someone available from approximately 6:00am Monday–Friday who wants to progressively build their client book as our new St Ives studio grows.
This would begin as a contractor position rather than an immediate full‑time role. However, our goal is to build the right person towards a substantial weekly schedule and potentially transition them into a full‑time employee role as demand grows.
For someone looking for more than just a few PT sessions each week, this is the biggest opportunity we currently have.
We also have contractor opportunities at Pymble, particularly across selected weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends.
You don't necessarily need to fit every available time. If you're a great trainer with availability across some of these periods, we'd still like to hear from you.
Our sessions are 45 minutes and primarily strength‑training focused.
You’ll take ownership of your clients’ training and results, so we expect thoughtful, individualised programming rather than putting everyone through the same workout.
Our clients are predominantly busy professionals aged 40–60.
They value consistency, trust and having a trainer who genuinely understands them.
Technical knowledge matters, but we’ve found that the best Plexus trainers are also warm, calm and emotionally intelligent.
People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.
Previous experience is valuable, but personality, reliability and your ability to connect with clients matter enormously to us.
If we think you’re a good fit for Plexus, we’ll have a conversation and work out where you could fit best as we continue to grow.
