We’re looking for an experienced Personal Trainer to join a small specialised studio team in Diamond Creek, delivering three established semi-private training shifts with an existing client base.
This isn’t a role where you’ll need to build a client base, sell memberships or spend unpaid hours on a gym floor. The clients and hours are already established, so you can walk in and focus on coaching.
Our clients are primarily adults in their 50s and 60s, with some into their 70s. Many are working around previous injuries, surgeries or health conditions, so this role requires someone with enough hands-on experience and sound judgement to confidently adapt training and coach several individual programs within the same session.
The coaching style here is calm, attentive and individualised. We’re not looking for a high-energy bootcamp-style trainer who simply pushes everyone harder. We want someone who enjoys getting to know their clients, pays attention to the details and understands that good coaching means challenging people appropriately for their body and circumstances.
A Certificate IV in Fitness and current First Aid/CPR are essential.
Because these are fixed 6:00am client sessions, reliable early‑morning attendance is essential. The role will particularly suit someone based locally or with a short, reliable commute to Diamond Creek.
This role may be particularly attractive to an experienced trainer who already works elsewhere or runs their own small PT business and would value three reliable, established morning shifts without having to find the clients themselves.
Trainer turnover here is extremely low, with trainers historically staying for many years. We’re looking for someone who sees this as a genuine long-term opportunity and wants to become a trusted part of our clients’ training routine.
A paid shadowing and handover period will be provided so you can learn the studio approach, get comfortable with the programs and gradually get to know the clients before taking responsibility for the shifts.
