Job summary

genU is seeking passionate Personal Support Workers in the Greater Geelong area who empower people with disability to live independently, build confidence and achieve goals. You’ll provide personal care, domestic assistance, transport and community access with a person-centred approach.

Requirements include Certificate III in Community Services (Disability) or equivalent, current First Aid & CPR, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Orientation Module.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

As a Personal Support Worker, you’ll support people to live safely, independently, and with dignity by providing:

• Personal and self-care support including hygiene, dressing, eating and meal preparation
• Light domestic assistance and support with daily living tasks
• Community access support including transport, shopping, and social outings
• Skill development and personal growth opportunities aligned with support plans
• Respectful, strengths-based support that upholds privacy, empowerment, and choice
