The Role

Due to continued growth, the firm is looking to appoint a Personal Injury Lawyer with approximately 1-3 years' PAE to join its CTP team.

This is a genuine file-management role where you will take carriage of your own portfolio of CTP injury matters, with support and mentoring from experienced senior lawyers.

Your work will include:

  • Providing clear and practical advice to injured clients throughout the life of their claim.

You will have genuine responsibility for progressing your matters while continuing to receive support on more complex disputes and strategic issues.

About You

You will ideally have:

  • Approximately 1-3 years' post-admission experience;
  • Experience practising in plaintiff personal injury law;
  • Strong exposure to NSW CTP Compensation matters;
  • A working knowledge of relevant NSW legislation;
  • Experience dealing with disputes concerning weekly benefits, medical expenses and permanent impairment;
  • Exposure to proceedings before the Personal Injury Commission;
  • Strong drafting and file management skills;
  • Confidence dealing directly with clients, insurers, doctors, experts and counsel;
  • Good judgement and the ability to progress matters with increasing autonomy; and

Experience appearing in the PIC, conducting negotiations or managing disputed compensation claims will be particularly well regarded.

Why Consider This Opportunity?
