BlueCare is hosting an Open Day in Bundaberg for Personal Carers. We invite you to meet the team and be interviewed on the spot. Permanent and casual opportunities are available with a competitive hourly rate and additional benefits.

As a Personal Carer you will provide care to residents, support independence, and improve quality of life through daily living activities and engagement aligned with each Care Plan.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
• Experience with care plans and individualised care.
• Ability to use smartphones, tablets and laptops.

Responsibilities

• Daily living assistance including showering and personal hygiene.

About the role: As a Personal Carer you’ll provide care to your clients living in our residential home, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life through activities that include:

• Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at meal times and general mobility
• Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
• Supporting with community based recreational and social activities

Role requirements: Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
