Job summary

Rockpool Residential Aged Care is seeking a dedicated Personal Carer to provide compassionate, individualised care to residents across a Queensland community. You will work closely with Registered Nurses, Dining Service Champions and Lifestyle Officers to ensure each resident's day is safe, comfortable and meaningful.

Responsibilities include assisting with mobility, hygiene, meals and social engagement while respecting resident dignity and rights.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care or a similar support role.
• Understanding of person-centred care and resident rights.
• Certificate III or Certificate IV in Individual Support (Aged Care or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, respectful and individualised personal care aligned to each resident's care plan.
• Support residents with daily living including mobility, hygiene, meals and social engagement.
• Respect resident dignity, preferences, routines and independence at all times.
• Observe and report changes in resident mood, comfort and wellbeing to the nursing team.
• Participate in dining and lifestyle experiences.
• Maintain accurate and consistent care documentation.
