Job summary

Rockpool Residential Aged Care is seeking a Personal Carer to deliver individualised care to residents across our community. Reporting to the Senior Registered Nurse, you will work with Registered Nurses, Dining Service Champions and Lifestyle Officers to ensure each resident's day is safe, comfortable and meaningful.

Responsibilities include providing safe personal care aligned to care plans, assisting with mobility, hygiene, meals and social activities, and maintaining accurate care

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care or a similar support role.
• Understanding of person-centred care and resident rights.
• Ability to work cooperatively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Warm, empathetic, resident-first approach.

• Support residents with daily living including mobility, hygiene, meals and social engagement.
• Respect resident dignity, preferences, routines and independence at all times.

About the role

• Consistent and reliable, showing up dependably for every shift and taking accountability to residents and the care team
• Observant and proactive, noticing subtle changes in residents' health, mood or behaviour and escalating concerns early
• Certificate III or Certificate IV in Individual Support (Aged Care or equivalent)
• Experience in aged care or a similar support role (preferred)
