Job summary

BlueCare, part of UnitingCare Queensland, is seeking a Personal Carer (Domestic) for Mt Isa and surrounding areas. The role involves delivering in-home personal care, domestic support and companionship to clients in the community, with travel between visits and flexible hours in a permanent part-time arrangement.

You will work across BlueCare services, supporting independence and improving quality of life. A valid driver’s licence and ability to pass probity checks are required.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential.
• Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work - Essential.
• Experience with smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to clients living in the community to support independence and quality of life.
• Perform domestic tasks: house cleaning, meal prep, laundry and ironing.
• Provide transportation and assist with shopping and appointments.
• Spend time on the road visiting clients and supporting daily activities in their homes.

Remuneration:$34.50 p/hr + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM's) + Employee discounts

About the role:

As aPersonal CarerDomestic you’ll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities

Provide domestic assistance with house cleaning, meal preparation & laundry and ironing

Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

Role requirements:
