Job summary

BlueCare is seeking a Personal Carer to support clients in the Toowoomba region, delivering in‑home care and helping maintain independence. You will spend time visiting clients at their homes, assisting with daily living tasks and transportation to appointments.

The role requires a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent, a valid Australian driver’s licence, a roadworthy vehicle, and comfort with using smartphones and tablets. Casual employment with benefits offered.

About the role:

As a Personal Carer you'll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities

In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing

Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan

Supporting with community based recreational and social activities

Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

Role requirements:

Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification - Essential

Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential

Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work- Essential

Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc

Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies

Abide by the Child Safe Standards and adhere to the Reportable Conduct Scheme
