BlueCare is seeking a Personal Carer to support clients in the community across Ayr, Burdekin and surrounds. You’ll provide in‑home care, assist with daily living activities, and help families maintain independence with dignity.

Essential qualifications include a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent, a current Australian driver’s licence, and a roadworthy vehicle. Veterans of modern tech will thrive while delivering compassionate care to diverse clients.

• Remuneration: $ 36.32 p/h + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM’s) + Employee discounts

About the role:

As a Personal Carer you’ll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

• Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities
• In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing
• Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
• Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
• Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

Role requirements:

• Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification - Essential
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
• Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work- Essential
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
