BlueCare, part of UnitingCare, is seeking a Personal Carer to support clients in Mt Isa and surrounding areas. You will travel to homes, provide daily living assistance, and help maintain independence according to each Care Plan.

You’ll work on the road visiting clients, helping with showering, meals, light cleaning, and transport to appointments. The role emphasizes compassionate, customer-focused care and requires driving and use of mobile devices.

Competenze

• Essential: Certificate III Aged Care or Equivalent
• Essential: Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• Essential: Vehicle for work (Roadworthy & insured)
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops
• Confidence to satisfy probity checks

Mansioni

• Spending time on the road visiting clients in their homes.

• Employment Status: Permanent Full Time
• Location: Mt Isa & Surrounding Areas
• Remuneration:$36.32 p/h + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM’s) + Employee discounts

About the role:

As aPersonal Careryou’ll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

• Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities
• In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing
• Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
• Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
• Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

Role requirements:

• Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification - Essential
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
• Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work- Essential
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
