Job summary

Southern Cross Care (SA, NT & VIC) Inc. is hiring for a Permanent Part Time Personal Carer in Adelaide. The role delivers proactive, person-centred support focused on resident needs, goals and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Certificate III in Aged Care.
• Experience as a Personal Carer and ability to work without direct supervision.

About you

We are looking for people who will be the difference in the lives of our residents and clients.To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Certificate III in Aged Care.

• Experience as a Personal Carer and the ability to work without direct supervision.

• Good communication skills and the ability to manage your time well.

• A good understanding of how to support residents living with dementia.

• An understanding of theAged Care Standardsas they apply to this role.

• A Senior First Aid Certificate and an understanding of AN-ACC are desirable.
