Job summary

Southern Cross Care is seeking a Permanent Full Time Personal Carer to support residents across a rotating AM/PM roster. You will provide person-centred, safe care tailored to individual needs and encourage active participation in health and wellbeing.

Applicants should hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Aged Care, with relevant experience and good communication. Senior First Aid is desirable and AN-ACC knowledge is a bonus.

• Experience as a Personal Carer with ability to work without direct supervision.
• Good communication skills and time management.

Permanent Full Time Filler Position

76 hours a fortnight

• This is a fortnightly position requiring availability across a rotating roster of AM and PM shifts.

• Working across a 14 day roster.

About you

We are looking for people who will be the difference in the lives of our residents and clients.To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Certificate III in Aged Care.

• Experience as a Personal Carer and the ability to work without direct supervision.

• Good communication skills and the ability to manage your time well.

• A good understanding of how to support residents living with dementia.

• An understanding of theAged Care Standardsas they apply to this role.

• A Senior First Aid Certificate and an understanding of AN-ACC are desirable.
