Job summary

Benetas in Victoria provides one-on-one home care for older Victorians in the Metro West region. You will support clients with daily tasks, help maintain independence, and enable community connection in a home setting.

Roles offer flexible Mon–Fri hours (7am–5pm), travel between clients, and require a driving vehicle, NDIS clearance, and First Aid/CPR certification. Competitive pay with travel reimbursement and salary packaging options are available.

The Role

We are looking for Support Workers / Home Care Workers to join our team in Metro West region. Our Care Workers in Community, Health and Care provide one-on-one care to help older Victorians live comfortably in their own homes, to stay connected and to feel supported.

• Assist clients with daily activities such as light cleaning and meal preparation assistance
• Work with clients one-on-one within their home to live their best lives and maintain relationships
• Assist clients to keep connected to their communities through activities they love
• Unescorted shopping with a list

About You

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Respect for all, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race, or sexual orientation
• Your own vehicle, current drivers' licence, and car insurance, to drive between clients' homes and drive clients as required
• Willingness to travel between clients, sometimes up to 4 clients per day, and up to 10-30 minutes between clients
• NDIS Clearance, First Aid and CPR Certificate or ability to obtain
