Job summary

Benetas is seeking experienced Personal Care Workers for the Broughton Hall home in Camberwell. This not-for-profit organisation supports over 15,000 Victorians with aged care services. The role offers permanent part-time roster lines with fixed patterns, requiring commitment to a specified roster.

PCWs provide person-centred care and collaborate with a supportive team to enhance residents' quality of life, safety and wellbeing in a compassionate work environment.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Individual Support or Aged Care completed or in progress.
• Experience in aged care environment preferred.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and deliver person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care to residents.
• Assist 65 residents with daily living activities in a residential aged care setting.
• Work as part of a collaborative team in a fixed roster pattern.

The Role

We are looking for experienced Personal Care Workers to join our Broughton Hall home in Camberwell. This home has 65 wonderful residents who value your contribution.

We currently have permanent part-time roster lines available. Please note these are fixed roster patterns and cannot be negotiated. Applicants must be able to commit to one of the roster lines below.

Our Personal Care Workers are dedicated to helping older Victorians live their best lives by delivering person-centred care that can only come from truly knowing the individuals they are supporting.

The role of a Personal Care Worker is exciting and diverse in our residential aged care homes. Each day is unique and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference to our residents. About you

• Completed or currently studying a Cert III or higher in Individual Support or Aged Care, or a related qualification, or completed the first year of nursing studies and placements
• Experience working in an aged care environment
• A genuine passion for caring and ability to build rapport with clients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Respect for all, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race, or sexual orientation
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check or ability to obtain
